Local skills & funding updates from around the county
LSIP Update

Summer tends to slow down the events we attend, as schools and colleges conclude their academic year. Hopefully, we all get the chance to take some annual leave and enjoy the summer weather, however fleeting it may be. For the LSIP team, this period has been one of reflection and realignment, preparing us for the busy autumn months ahead when events and invitations will start filling our calendars.

We extend our gratitude to those who have invited us to participate in their events. Sharing information and showcasing the county’s progress towards skills development is invaluable. The more we share, the greater the engagement and the more significant the change we can achieve.

Results day

There were great results in both GCSE’s and A Levels across the county last month.

Results were particularly positive for our Providers in Essex.

Essex LSIP features in Business Time in Essex

The Essex LSIP has featured in the latest issue of Business Time in Essex Magazine.  It demonstrates why the LSIP is important to Essex and how it continues to drive Skills delivery for Businesses.  You can view details here.  LSIP articles are on pages 19-21 and 39 respectively.

Following this publication, we are currently producing a skills supplement to accompany our December edition. This supplement will highlight the extensive resources available throughout the county, aiming to foster stronger connections between employers and our college network.
