Local skills & funding updates from around the county
LSIP Progress Report now published!

We are very pleased to share the report with the county. The LSIP Progress report sets out progress made against the LSIP since it was first published in August 2023.

It was produced in June this year and delayed slightly due to the election but is now available to view here.

The report sets out the wealth of work underway and the very real impact the LSIP is having in our County.  This includes establishing the sector groups and insights, £6.1 million of local skills improvement funding secured (with local authority match) and the range of events informing and engaging businesses across Essex. It also sets out the galvanizing effect the LSIP has had on local stakeholders and forthcoming work such as an employer toolkit and digital platform. This regular newsletter also features as a great example of keeping businesses locally informed and updated on the LSIP.  The report is supported by an updated data report and action plan

Thank You

We extend our gratitude to every employer participating in the LSIP. Whether you’re responding to our surveys, meeting with Andy or myself, or regularly engaging in our Sector-Based Skills Groups, your contributions are invaluable. The insights you provide continually inform us about your skills needs and the changes you seek. This rich information is crucial in driving the necessary changes within the county. None of this would be possible without having employers at the heart of our conversation.
