Several local colleges were inspected by Ofsted recently and this has included a look at the work they are doing to respond to the LSIP. The LSIP project team fed into some of the inspections. This illustrates the very real impact the LSIP is having on local provision and ensuring that it responds to employer needs.

Ofsted commented on the range of CPD that the LSIP team had completed and were able to see the impact of this throughout their inspections. Recent published results include Colchester Sixth Form College (Outstanding), Chelmsford College (Good), Harlow College (Good) and USP College (Good with outstanding features), with more results to be published soon.  The LSIP team would like to congratulate local colleges for their excellent results and thank them for all their hard work responding to the LSIP
